Joel 2:28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
Blessings to you all!
I trust all is well with you and that you continue to walk out, Blessed in the Lord!
I just wanted to send you a little update about my time at Bethany Bible Training Center (Bible College formerly known as Pine Crest located in upstate New York).
Well Dr. Wilson and I were invited back to Bethany to minister. We were there together last Thursday, where he preached in the morning chapel service and then he went home (16 miles away from the Campus) and I was invited to spend the remainder of the day there and the night and be with them in Friday morning service (this morning). And what a time we had together in both services!
For the past few weeks, Bethany College has canceled their normal routine of classes and increased their times together in chapel services, moving it from a scheduled Tuesdays and Thursdays to every day in the week! They have been experiencing a incredibly move of God in the school! So Dr. Wilson and I really came to serve and add more fuel to a fire that has been well burning before we came! Praise God!
Dr. Wilson ministered on the life of Joseph and the process he underwent and how really in life that when Satan comes to attack, how really he is operating as a tool by the Lord to help condition us to maturity in Christ and overcome in the name of Jesus over Satan’s tactics! Great Word! Doc ministered after a long time of intense worship and praise where there was such a sense of God’s presence, you just couldn’t help but engage and jump into the river of His Spirit!
I spent the remainder of the day and got to speak to the students from table to table, as they asked me questions concerning my travels with Dr. Wilson and such and also spoke about the travels and a life given to the work of the Lord to the third year class of the college. It was mostly a question and answer forum, but a great time of fellowship.
Later Thursday night I had such a time in prayer and in the word and prayed with Pastor Philip, and as we prayed he sensed a real release in the heavenlies over the school and in the meetings, so I shared with him what has been taking place and I was greatly encouraged with what he sensed and it just developed greater expectation to see the Lord move in the next morning service (this morning). I didn’t have such a great sleep; I just had strange dreams of torment and just could not sleep. I awoke a few times and knew Satan was robbing me of sleep and yet because I knew God had something big in store for the meeting. So I managed to get some sleep eventually.
When the morning came and I went to talk to some of the students before the service, a student told me how she had a bad sleep too and had nightmares and even in the last Thursday morning service a student testified the same thing, a real tough time sleeping and a awareness of Satan really tormenting in her sleep, really odd, but how she prayed and during Thursday morning time of worship the Lord really ministered to her and as far as I know she slept well the next night and carried a real joy in the Lord how He has her in the palm of His hands. Anyways, I thought I would share this with you all.
So this morning’s from 9-12 pm I don’t even think we were able to get past the 2nd song that was sung! There was such a spirit of praise, before we sang this second song again (I don’t know all the words and I never heard it before) a girl exhorted about truly making this song as a devotion from us to the Lord personally and then I exhorted and preached a bit about the Joshua generation and how the Lord did not call a generation of certain age, but of all ages from 40-85yrs. How the Joshua generation were of a people of another spirit, willing by the grace of God to and cross over Jordan to inherit what God has made available! And so how we need to walk out our inheritance. God has it to give us and he wants to but it is our job by His guidance to it, to walk it out! With strong confirmation, we again sand this song some of the words were…”We will say what you say God, we will pray what you pray, we will pray what you pray…” And once we sand it again, it was like a Holy Ghost bomb went off! All teachers and students together of all ages were either dancing and shouting before the Lord with tears or laying face forward on the ground just weeping before the Lord! I felt as if I was in another country…the reverence and seriousness and response to the beckoning of the Holy Spirit! This lasted for 3 ½ hours non-stop. I also released a word concerning the school and the wellsprings within their lives and the campus and after that word given, a students came up one by one at different times confirming the word of the Lord with sharing about either visions they had of the streams flowing out or with exhortations concerning the same thing the Lord was speaking to them. Also then a spirit of repentance rested upon the students and each one began to give a charge to live holy and separate before God and allow the Holy Ghost to transform everything in them, even more than what I guess they were allowing! Just personal convictions came and a desire was enriched in their hearts, as well as mine, to just get deeper in Jesus. Then they went into corporate confession and repentance and challenging all to carry the Lord in their fellowship, walk, and everything they do.
One lady got up and shared of how she first came to the school and was shy and didn’t speak much, and how she feels the Lord wants to bring boldness into her life for the Gospel, so immediately with the school Dean’s permission (who was present in the room as well) this lady said the Lord told her to go fishing on Saturday…to go fishing for souls and she asked the whole school who was there, “Who wants to come with me?” and a majority, if not all students raised their hands and so tomorrow they are going to a town called Herkimer and will be evangelizing on the streets and at the mall, praying for God to use them to bring life to the lost souls. If I didn’t have to bring Doc to Coudersport on Saturday, I would have joined them for sure!
What a time we had! I was invited back as well as Dr. Wilson. It encourages me to see their response and refreshes my heart to know there is still home in this nation!
Thank you all so so so much for your prayers, I am witnessing the answer to them! I’ll keep you posted!
