Jeremiah 33:3 Call upon me, and I will answer thee, and I will shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
Dear fellow prayer warriors and servants of the most High!
Blessings to you all! Don’t we just serve and tremendous Lord? A God that not only gave His life on the cross, but from then until now and forever more until His coming, He is still giving of Himself! He gave us His Spirit! That is something to rejoice about, is it not? A life in the spirit? A life when trouble and trying times come, that hope and vision can be resurrected within our hearts!
Well here, Dr. Wilson and I are still in Indonesia. We have been here since April 21 and will be here until the 19th. We have been ministering on the island of Java, Sulawesi (just south of the Philippines), Bali and in a few days we will be heading to Sumatra. We have been witnessing the power of God truly lay hold of hearts here in this country as we been nonstop ministering and claiming the Kingdom of God for this nation. Dr. Wilson and I were invited to come by two dear sisters in the Lord, Els and Cathy, and Els translates for Dr. Wilson and Cathy is used to pray over those who need healing. Together we have layed hands on those with hungry hearts and heard testimony after testimony of God’s healing touch upon their lives! It has been different for me, because I cannot understand or speaking Indonesian, (Cathy and Els can) and so when asked to pray and lay hands over the sick, I have no choice but to rely on the prophetic word of the Lord to pray specifically over those who are afflicted. It is definitely training for my ear to hear the Lord speak. It strengthens my faith to see the expressions on their faces of the Holy Spirit’s inner work, some slained by the Spirit and some brought to tears. I know it is not by what I pray in English but the connection of speaking in tongues and the already present inner working to the Holy Ghost! Many of the people here, live with afflictions, due to extreme poverty in lifestyle. Not able to see doctor, not able to sleep on a comfortable bed, or no bed at all, intake of much of the pollution that fils the heavily populated streets with motor bikes and so on. But Jesus heals! And we pray that they continue to walk in wholeness, glorifying the Lord!
Dr. Wilson has been doing very well lately. He has been seeing a doctor and been monitored during our time here in Indonesia. He is taking prescriptions, but also relying on the power of the Holy Spirit. So I thank you all for your prayers. To me, prescriptions are secondary to the power of the Holy Ghost. We do what we can, and use what God provides, but that should not handicap us from living DEPENDANT upon the Holy Spirit, the touch of Christ! So again, thank you for your prayers for myself and especially for Doc. He has been preaching in wisdom but under the zeal of a young fired up preacher! Someone asked me on facebook, “Why do you think Doc has been undergoing such physical pains on and off?” Well granted he is 80 yrs of age and has some health issues, I believe for my benefit it is part of my training in the school of the Spirit; to keep standing in the gap, along with all of you, in believe God for divine intervention upon Dr. Wilson’s body! I see it as part of my training in the school of the Spirit.
Well Dr. Wilson and I are presently in Bali preaching. Tomorrow is Sunday here and we have 3 meetings. Amazing here on the Island of Bali there is the heaviest influence of Hindu worship. On the island of Java it is Muslim practice all over. And the small part of the island of Sulawesi, is Christian (with crosses all over the place for Easter), however they claim that Islam is slowly creeping into that community. But we prayer, especially after such tremendous meetings there, that it would not be so! But the nation is claimed for the Kingdom of the living God, Jesus Christ!
We have received the news here concerning the death of Bin Laden. It has been unusually clam here, especially among the Muslims. We are surrounded by radical Muslims. But not as much as is in Iran or any other Middle East countries. I personally was happy justice for the nation was served, but the more I watch the news headlines, the more my heart sank thinking “Gee, if only Bin Laden gave his heart to Jesus”. Though a leader is claimed dead, the war really is not over. The world is only one terrorist safer, but the greatest need remains and that is a WORLD WIDE REVIVAL OF THE LOVE AND POWER OF CHRIST! The issue is not concerning against just America, TRUST me I see it in these countries where Islam is more heavy as a way of society. The issue is a Christian and Islam issue. It is part of their zeal to the call of taking over the world. I cannot stress this enough. I see it here in Indonesia, and I am sure I will see it in the other 5 heavily Muslim countries I will be in within the next 3 months! America really does need to wake up concerning these things and that is when the Church generally will wake up to the demand of living Holy by the Word of God and begin to express the culture of the Kingdom of God!!!
The peace of the Lord is upon me and I sense His grace strongly! My heart breaks for those who are deceived in such beliefs. Next to our hotel in Java, there is a Mosque and 5 times a day there are Muslim prayers being amplified over the city. You can hear it through the walls! To me it sounds terrible! I don’t know how anyone can bear such noise, but you sense a type of spirit through it for sure! Just a false spirit! I don’t know how else to explain it, it is something one has to just experience. Over and over again we hear such things!
Anyways, that is some of the goings on here in Indonesia! I have been posting many photos on facebook and have yet to put them on my website. I have been having some issues with my computer. Right now it seems to be fixed. So I will still use it throughout the journey before I get home.
Well I pray this encourages your hearts and may we strive to live more in the expression of Kingdom culture! A life that continue in the Word of God itself! A life in fellowship, bringing our vertical fellowship with Jesus to a horizontal lever with one another! Jesus says, if we have love one to another then shall the world know that we are Christ’s disciples! And let our worship continue to develop our attitude toward God in all meekness and holiness. And may we not keep praise in our Sunday services, but daily praising God!
Blessings to you all,
