Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the things I think toward you saith the Lord, thoughts of peace and not evil; to give you an expected end..
Hello friends and many blessings to you!
Well as the Bible says, “In all thy ways acknowledge Him (The Lord) and He shall direct thy paths (Prov. 3:6)”, I find that to be true. From the day I said “Yes” to Jesus and “No” to my will, I found my eyes opened to seeing the hand of the Lord guiding me every step of the way. As He has been acknowledged through thick and thin, great and wonderful times, He is faithful to direct the path He has us to walk in! Never would I have thought that He would have taken me around the globe and most importantly, serving Him with all my life! I thank the Lord for bringing me to each country during this season traveling and serving Dr. Wilson, as well as the thanking the Lord for you all praying us through! Our willingness and your prayers have worked hand in hand as God has been directing our paths during this time. Thank you for your prayers, and please know that my prayers are also extended out to you!
First let me say that Dr. Wilson is doing great physically! After we left Indonesia, He has been functioning great and under the grace and power of our Lord! Again thank you for your prayers! He has been lightening off the prescriptions now and seems okay and very vibrant and energetic mostly behind the pulpit. But away from the pulpit, he has been keeping up and claiming to have no pains lately in his body! Praise the Lord!
Since my last update, we have traveled from Indonesia to Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Maldives Islands, Qatar, Germany, Netherlands, Latvia, Georgia and now are in Armenia for another 1 ½ weeks. Last May on the 27th, I technically have been completely around the globe as we landed in Amsterdam at and airport I was in last October of 2010. We ministered in Sri Lanka which was unexpected about God worked it out, as it was a desire in Dr. Wilson’s heart. We got the connections in Sri Lanka through a couple we stayed with in Australia. Sri Lanka was the last country Doc had ministered at to complete all countries that he has traveled and ministered at during his navy days 57 years ago. Sri Lanka was his first time in 57 yrs being there. While there we went to Kandy a city that has the temple of the tooth, which is a temple that holds one of Buddha’s teeth. Sad it was to see hundreds of Buddhists sit and worship this tooth in a gold little casket, but proves the fact that Buddha isn’t God because his remains are here on earth, just as well as any other person and religious leader. Only Jesus resurrected and is alive! No hair, tooth, nail etc. Is found of Christ…why? Because He is alive! And the day is yet to come that we all shall resurrect together and meet the Lord when He comes again to receive up His Kingdom and inherit a new earth as the Apostle John sees in His vision and prophecies as well as all other prophets! Hallelujah!
Also as you read my last prayer request for a young man I met while in the Middle East, in Qatar, you see the Lord opened up a door to minister to someone while surrounded by Muslims. My prayer is that perhaps other Muslims, who understand English, over heard the conversation as well! With God all things are possible!!!
Our flight from Qatar to Germany and then immediately to Holland was interesting to say the least. Our plane from Qatar to Germany was a bit late, and the airport in Munch is large and the workers there send Doc and me all over the place in order to find the correct terminal for our next flight to Holland. Well we missed it! But then I thought of the conversation Doc and I had on the way to Germany, how that 4 years to the date that day (May 27) that the Lord sent me to Hershey and that was the beginning of transformation Body, Soul and Spirit, into the things of Christ! And knowing that it would then be fulfilled on that day that the Lord would bring me around the world, exactly 4 years to the day! So here we had this conversation, also how I experienced in my life in Christ so far, His perfect and significant timing. Now face with this possibility that we won’t make it to Holland until the 28th, in my head I hesitated but in my heart I would not receive that possibility. I know the Lord enough to realize how His testimony and guiding has been in my life…not that I expect these things, but it goes to show that He has been working behind the scenes of my life. And that is how He is in any one else’s life! So I told Doc, “Well let’s believe that we will be on the next available flight, because I don’t believe the Lord reminded me of the day 4 years ago for nothing!” And at first the flight workers said it is impossible and then 15 minutes before they said it was a 93% chance that both Doc and I will be on the next flight. Plus we had a meeting that night. So we made it and God’s testimony is true! Praise the Lord! Well once we got to the airport in Amsterdam, immediately we were rushed to the meeting (which almost canceled due to us being late) and on the way we found out that we are requested to do presbytery together (prophetic ministry). So without changing into our “church cloths”, in jeans and all, we went and ministered. And that was the first time I was used to do presbytery overseas! Exactly on May 27th.
You see, for those who don’t know, 4 yrs ago from that day, I was on my way to Hershey PA from the state of Indiana. My life was in ruin as sin continued to corrupt me to death, literally! But I came to a place of repentance and willing to let go of everything in my life, just to have Jesus change me. And so He did and opened the door to bring me to Hershey PA and be under my Uncle/ Pastor and just get my life in order. Not so much to live a better life, but that through Repentance, Baptism and the infilling of the Holy Spirit, all by God’s divine intervention, I might live a new life! A life in Him! 4 years ago the possibility of imprisonment laid at my door step, but when Jesus stepped in, cleaned my slate literally and wiped away my criminal records, changed my life and 4 years later brought me around the world, ministering the Gospel and serving Him! All because I said YES to Jesus!
So Holland was good and Doc and I will be there in 2 ½ weeks for a few days. He will be ministering to church leaders and I will be ministering to 2 different youth groups.
Now after Holland we flew to Latvia, changed planes and flew to Georgia and then drove into Armenia. With not much sleep and immediately ushered into the meetings, (first day was 3 back to back meetings and a presbytery, which Bro. Bill Kiefer and Doc ministered). The meetings have went well and that has been the type of itinerary lately. But among about 500 leaders in the first conference a real spirit of intercession has filled our hearts, and people all over the sanctuary have been praying for one another, right where they are sitting. Oh it was beautiful to see the body of Christ minister to one another! That is how it ought to be, because I believe before we can be ready to be used out in the world to win souls to Christ, it starts in the church, the opportunity lays at hand in the House of God to minister to each other of Gods goodness, praying for one another and fellowshipping. It is like practicing in a way in the church before hitting the streets. Anyways this seems to be the first initial thrust! We still have another major conference and Bro. Kiefer and I will be doing prophetic ministry together and also ministering in worship with his son Josh. Looking forward to that and serving the people of God.
Also Doc and I are now getting our visas for Russia, where we are scheduled to minister together along with another brother. This Russia trip is taking the place of our initial Iran trip. At a church in Armenia I saw pictures on the wall of those who are now imprisoned in Iran since 2010 for preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. My prayers go out to them. Though times traveling has been tough, compared to that, I really didn’t suffer for Jesus in that extreme measure. There are believers that are in far worse states, imprisonment and even death. We need to keep them in prayer and that God will add on more souls to His Kingdom through their “yieldedness” to His will!
Now believe it or not, the Lord moved upon the heart of the Russian Mafia to help Doc and I and another brother to get visas into Russia in less than a week. Hahaha. This is no joke. Long story, but a brother who is saved and has much influence among government officials, as well as the Russian Mafia, has been used to contact the Mafia and they have been taking care of us. They know we are ministers also. Hey, God works in mysterious ways. Hahaha
Well thank you for your prayers and that is an update so far of our time traveling and ministering the word of the Lord to the world, as we labor together in this earth to bring advancement to the Kingdom of God!
Be blessed!
